SOLUTIONS TO COLOMBO FAMILIES HOUSING WOES SOON - MINISTER

   

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR 57 LOW INCOME FAMILIES

The housing problems of families in Colombo will be solved in the near future. The problem will not be passed on to another minister, Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa said. The minister made this observation participating at a mobile service at Pradeepa Hall, Gunasinghepura on Monday to solve housing programs of 1,800 families living in rented houses.More Short

   

Fifty seven low income families from Kaduwela, Dehiwala, Rathmalana, kolonnawa, Kotte, Borella, Homagama, Maharagama, and seethawaka in the Colombo District, received financial assistance valued at more than Rs.6 million by construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Public Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa at the Ministry auditorium at Sethsiripaya, Battaramulla, recently.
