Housing loan reimbursement targets exceeded by 100 percent

  the first anniversary celebrations of the "Janasewana" monthly publication  
 

The percentage of reimbursement targets of Jana Sevana housing loans has exceeded 100 percent in 20 districts, a Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities Ministry official said.

He said the Jana Sevana housing loan beneficiaries are keen on the reimbursement process of the National HousingDevelopment Authority (NHDA).

 

 

 

 

 

 

There is a media culture today which incites conflict in the country, said Construction Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa.

He was speaking while participating in the first anniversary celebrations of the Janasewana monthly publication at the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL) yesterday.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday stressed that Sri Lanka has the courage to face challenges posed by external forces.

The president was speaking at a ceremony at Temple Trees to present housing deeds to over 2,000 beneficiaries under the one million housing project of the Janasewana programme. Construction, Engineering Services, Housing & Common Amenities Ministry is implementing the project

 

 

The Institute for Construction Training and Development (ICTAD) launched a website on contractors to facilitate those who are engaged in the construction sector.

The website and on line registration system was launched yesterday(5th March)  at Sawsiripaya under the patronage of Construction Engineering Services Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa.
